It was has been relesed that Major Nidal Malik Hasan is the name of the Army Officer that was the shooter at Fort Hood. It was also stated by Fox News that he was “a recent convert to Islam.” CNN reports that he was a psychiatrist who had worked at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and recently transferred to Fort Hood. He was currently working at Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood. MSNBC has reported that he “was about to be deployed to Iraq and was ‘upset about it’.”
Hasan used a semi-automatic weapon in the attack at the Soldier Readiness Center at Fort Hood. He was shot by a female civilian police officer Sgt. Kimberly Munley, a 34-year-old mom of two. Only three minutes after Hasan had fired on fellow soldiers, Munley had tracked him down outside a pre-deployment facility, where she confronted Hasan.
Munley with her two daughters.
Chuck Medley, director of emergency services at Fort Hood described what happened, “She fired on him twice and drew the attention toward her. He immediately spun around and charged her. She fired a couple more rounds and fell back, continuing to fire. She struck him a couple times in the upper torso and he went down.” During the exchange Sgt. Munley was hit in both legs and her wrist. One round struck an artery and she lost a lot of blood, but she is expected to fully recover. Lets all pray for this outstanding lady’s speedy recovery.
In total Hasan was shot 4 times and is listed in stable condition. Hasan is currently in custody and is being treated for his wounds. Let us all hope for his full recovery so that the Army can have him before a firing squad by next summer. I hope they offer it on Pay-Per-View.
Do we need any further proof that Muslims are our enemy? I mean seriously people, we need to wake up and start keeping an eye out for those that are our enemies. How many people have to die before we are willing to accept who we need to target? Do you see now that political correctness gets people killed?
In my opinion, this is further confirmation that the “religion of peace” is anything but that.
So I saw this infomercial on TV late last night. What an utter joke. That dude with his oily uncut hair and unshaven face, just reeks of scam. I have not ordered the material, nor will I. Neither do you… I’ll tell you exactly how to do what he says, and I won’t charge you a penny. What “Mr. Morrison” does is have you sign up to some service of his. Then has you run advertisements which drive traffic to an affiliate site in order to sale some product and in turn he makes money from you on referrals.
So you want to do this? It’s simple and you don’t have to buy someone’s book to get started.
Just set up your own website. Then sign up to affiliate programs. Affiliate programs are all over the net, so all you have to do is search for one. I personally recommend Clickbank.com. I’d also suggest Google Adsense.
After you set up your website, just put the affiliate ads up and then get people to visit your site. Boom! Done! This is very simplified, but its all you really have to do…and you didn’t even have to buy a book. If you want more details just post a comment below, and I’ll make a post with the step by step details of how to set up a website and get started.
Update: 9-27-2009:

For the time being please visit and read some of the information I’ve posted on there. Its a good start for you to learn how to make money from websites. The address of it is: Websites-Work-From-Home.com
Update: 10-23-2009: Just an FYI. He’s also running the ads below on the net. I submitted my info with it, and I’m waiting to hear what he has to say. Feel free to do the same.
Here’s someone talking about “Mr. Morrison” that I found on YouTube:
This past Friday (July 10th) I got a surprise in the mail! I was heading out to lunch with some friends and the mail man walked up and asked me if I lived in the apartment I just came out of and asked me my name. I told him my name and said yes it was my apartment. He then handed me a rather large box. Needless to say I was shocked to be getting something, because I knew I hadn’t ordered anything. So I took the package, went back into my apartment, and opened it up with a lot of curiosity. Inside all I saw was a layer of foam shipping popcorn and a note laying on top. Looked at the note and it told me I was a winner! I had forgotten about that contest because I knew my chances of winning were low!
I was in shock! I won a Razer Lycosa Gaming Keyboard from the Mountain Dew World of Warcraft promotion! I’d never won anything before! LOL!
After hooking it up I can say only one thing! Its super awesome! I’m going to put a review video of it that I found on YouTube below so you guys can see what it looks like.
This is a sad story. Without question, the people that did it should be punished. I’m surprised, however, that Mr. Luttrell didn’t go to jail as well. Let me get this straight…Mr. Luttrell chased some guys through four counties at speeds of over 100mph, because someone shot his dog? As he said, “That’s murder in my book.” Well I’m sorry, but Mr. Luttrell’s book isn’t the law. What if he caused an accident and killed a family (you know…wife, kids, etc.)? Then when questioned as to why he was chasing people at extreme speed so far from his home, he said “because they killed my dog”. He would be guilty of murder, probably manslaughter at the very least.
Does the fact that he is a returning injured military veteran give him special rights to do stuff like this? Hell no it doesn’t. He is NOT a police officer and has NO authority to chase anyone. If I was the police officer on the scene I would have arrested Mr. Luttrell too.
I do not dispute his right to defend himself and his property, but that is not what he did. He left his property. He chased some thugs over four counties at over 100mph by his own admission, all because “they shot his dog”. Are the thugs guilty? Hell yes they are, and should have the book thrown at them.
Many people are speaking out in support of him, because he is a returning vet that went through hell in Afghanistan, and we should support our veterans. Does that give him a right to run rampant through the countryside taking the law into his own hands? No. If these thugs had kidnapped a family member, lets say his mother, or possibly a sister or daughter, would it then be acceptable to endanger the community while pursing them? Yes, because a human life was in danger. But that is not the case. The fact is, he gave dangerous pursuit of these criminals all because “they shot his dog”.
Now let me ask you this, is the life of your husband, wife, or child, worth the life of a dog? Of course it isn’t. But the people who unconditionally support this guy for his behavior would have you think it was. The reasoning is again that he is a returning vet and a hero, and that we should support him. Now put the fact that he is a returning war veteran out of your mind, that is irrelevant to this. Now ask yourself this: If he caused an accident that killed your family member, be that your husband, wife, kid, etc., how would you feel about his pursuit of these criminals then?
I feel he broke the law just as much as the criminals in this instance that shot his dog, and at the very least should be given a severe citation for it. I understand how I may be coming across as a jerk, and I’m sorry. I’m just pointing out common sense and rule of law which is the very thing that he fought for in Afghanistan. I have utmost respect for members of our military. I thank Mr. Luttrell wholeheartedly for his service. I’m extremely conservative in my political views. I have no compassion what-so-ever for the guys that killed the dog. I have the greatest respect for Mr. Luttrell and support his right to shoot the bastards that did it if they were on his property. However, I cannot support his actions once he left his property. With all things considered this is what we have: We have a private citizen that engaged in a dangerous, high speed pursuit of people, over four counties, because they killed his dog.
Common sense is all I am asking for people. Lets put things into perspective. At the end of the day, despite what the dog’s name was, how Mr. Luttrell came to own the dog, or what Mr. Luttrell has done in the past, Mr. Luttrell displayed reckless behavior in the pursuit of criminals, who at most were guilty of cruelty to animals and maybe guilty of unlawful discharge of a firearm.
UPDATE 4-08-2008: A video that has part of Luttrell’s 911 call as he is chasing the individuals who he claims shot his dog. It find it interesting that the dispatcher has the same reaction that I did, at :40 seconds in the video she says “You’re chasing them because they shot your dog?” and then at 1:15 she tells him not to speed…
While looking around on the net recently, I discovered that Patrick Norton, a former host of The Screensavers, is now working with Revision3. I decided to visit the Revision3 site, I was really suprised at the quality of their work. Their show Tekzilla was easily my favorite, but they are all great. Tekzilla really reminded my of The Screensavers. Maybe it was just Patrick Norton hosting it. Regardless I really enjoyed it, and I’m going to start adding their episodes to this blog as well.
This commercial has been running for a while now. The song is absolutely mesmerizing and I’ve been in a search to find it. Seems I’m not alone either! Many people online are trying to find a copy of it. This song, like many other commercial tunes before it, is a hit! There’s only one problem. It’s not available for purchase! As a matter of fact there is no complete copy of the song available anywhere! How horrible!
It seems that this song was produced just for this commercial, and has not been released in its entirety. Such a shame really. For those interested the song is “Space Oddity”, also known to many as “Major Tom” and is being performed by the band Cat Power. You can see the commercial in the video below.
For those that don’t know, G4 used to be an awesome channel called TechTV. I first heard of some of the names that have become common on the net these days while they were on TechTV. A couple of examples are Leo Laporte and Chris Pirillo. I really miss watching the old cast on The Screensavers. I really wish the powers that be could turn back the clock to those days. Below are a couple of videos of those days.
Oh by the way, I’m trying to find an old TechTV commerical. Maybe some of you can help me find a video of it. Its from around 2002 (I think) and had Van Halen’s song “Right Now” playing during it. It was a montage of their shows and other technology things. I distinctly remember the Space Shuttle launching during it. If anyone can find it and post a link to it, I’d be really appreciative.
I ran across this today. Appearantly there was a Christmas Party going on and Cali Live had a streaming video of the a band. It was event was called “Streaming Christmas Party with Geoff Smith @ The Big Bang Bar in Nashville”. To be honest I realy enjoyed him. I’m posting this streaming channel here so you guys can maybe see what’s going on. The channel seems to be pretty good! I know I’ll be stopping by from time to time as well.
Today I added a new theme from Chris Pirillo. I like it alot, but I need to change some things. For one thing his pictures below! I really like his live cam though. What do you guys think?
